According to Acts of Paul, Thecla had heard Paul preach in Iconium and converted to Christianity. She was condemned to death for retaining her virginity and thus depriving her bridegroom. A basilica was built over her supposed tomb and in Constantinople four churches were built in her honour.
A:As with a number of the early Christian saints, Saint Thecla of Iconium was mythological. Her story is found in The Story of the Deeds of Paul and Thecla, which originally formed part of the apocraphyl Acts of Paul. The Acts of Paul has been rejected by the Church but, as in normal in any legends that provide evidence of miracles or martyrdom, the Catholic Church accepts the existence of Saint Thecla and of her many trials. According to Acts of Paul, Thecla had heard Paul preach in Iconium and converted to Christianity. She was condemned to death for retaining her virginity and thus depriving her bridegroom. A basilica was built over her supposed tomb and in Constantinople four churches were built in her honour.

Saint Paul
I live in Malta and here we have plenty of cinemas. Malta,Gozo, Kemmuna,Kemunett and the islands of Paul are the Maltese islands.
While being taken as a prisoner to Rome, the ship carrying Saint Paul was ship wrecked at Malta.
According to Acts of the Apostles, Paul was shipwrecked on the island of Malta on his way to Rome. There is no confirmation in Paul's own epistles of either the appeal to Caesar or the journey to Rome, and Raymond E. Brown (An Introduction to the New Testament) says that some dismiss the account of Paul's hazardous sea journey in Acts 27:1-28:14 as novelistic fiction. On this view, there was no shipwreck on Paul's way to Rome.
The patron saints of Malta are:* Agatha of Sicily* Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary* George* Paul the Apostle* Publius of Malta
You will have to be more specific as there are a number of saints named Thecla. For most of them little information has survived about their lives.
