Naaman, the commander of the army of the King Aram, was healed of leprosy by the prophet Elijah by dipping himself in the Jordon river 7 times. This is recorded in 2 Kings 5:1-13.

In the bible there are many healings mentioned in the new testament , mainly in the four gospels of Matthew, Mark , Luke and John. but we can find some healings in the book of Acts as well. In the old testament we can read of the prophet Elijah who healed the dead widows son, and the person with leprosy , who was told to dip himself in the river seven times.
