The actual Bible has no reference to Mary's parentage. The geneologies of Matthew and Luke 2:4 are ascribed to prove Joseph's link to the house of David.
Current Catholic tradition places Mary's parents as St. Joachim (Heli or Eliachim) and St. Anna. These names are found in the Protoevangeliuim of James. However, the Protoevangelium was never brought into the current Bible. So it must still be stated that Catholic tradition stipulates these names for us.
