The prophets were in the Old Testament. The New Testament does not have any prophets, because Jesus had already fufilled the prophecies made in the old testament. However, the new testament includes 12 Apostles, including the 12 disciples minus Judas, plus Paul

What religion does not accept the New Testament?

Apart from Christianity, you could say that all other religions do not accept the New Testament. (The religion that accepts the Old Testament, or Hebrew Bible, but not the New Testament, is Judaism.) It is also worth noting that Islam rejects the New Testament as written, but does not reject the spiritual nature of the events it describes. Islam holds the New Testament to be a corrupted form of Jesus's Ministry, something that is very important in Islam.

How many prophet in islam?

In Islam, there are many prophets (some sources say as many as 124,000), since the word "prophet" refers to someone who was sent by Allah (God) to teach a message of righteousness. Muslims believe that all the prophets mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (including Moses and Abraham) were divinely inspired, and they also believe that Jesus, in the New Testament, was a prophet. But although there is great respect for the prophets in the Old and New Testament, Muslims believe that the prophet Muhammad is the last and the greatest of all the prophets.

How was the bible classified in the New Testament?

The inspired scriptures (the Old Testament) were divided into three classifications - the law of Moses, the prophets, other holy writ. e.g. Luke 24:27 "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself." The same way the Jewish scriptures are classified unto this day, the TaNaCh is a Hebrew acronym for Torah, Navi'im, Chtuvim or the law, the prophets, the writings. The New Testament was not in the Bible yet as it was not yet written.

Is the New Testament Holy scripture?

Yes. The New Testament is a book of visions that prophets had. They all wrote them down, but they did not read each other's writing because it was written over a long period of time. What's awesome is that the writings of each of the prophets correlate with each other, making proof of the Bible being true so much easier to see.
