Okay lets have a look at your question...

1} "Belief" is subjective , meaning to say that many different groups of people around the world , hold different beliefs , they define that belief themselves , some are in complete opposite , some are similar , but proud of their difference...

2} "always right" , I feel that perhaps you've met people that have asserted their "belief" , to an individual who does not value that belief ! Namely YOU , the questioner !

So I could presume , you are a person of "no beliefs" as the kind that we associate with "religious institutionalism" , I need to clarify that because I will humbly attempt to answer this question , bearing in mind that you do not hold common religious beliefs in value .

Psychology , lets look at the psychology of those who do hold "belief" in great value ,to have confidence or faith in the truth , as in a definition of "belief" , BUT ITS THEIR BELIEF , its not that which you hold in high esteem or in any esteem whats so ever , they have been nurtured upon the association of "positive qualities" with their "peculiar belief" , the "belief" in it self is not a tangible mechanism , like DNA or atomic physics , thus it seats its self in the psyche of emotions , supported by "positive" discriminations over time , it manifests itself , in support of he/she that asserts that belief...Thats why people like you who do not value that belief , get that impression , because you encounter people , who express "belief" that is not only very personal to them , but also a catalyst to their emotional heart !

How do religions affect non-believers?

Followers of some religions treat non-believers with disdain, and openly wonder why they fail to see the truth. Some seek to aggressively proselytise to the non-believers and show signs of frustration when their apparently straight-forward information is rejected. Other accept the absolute right of non-believers to follow their own religion, or to follow no religion, and treat the non-believers with tolerance and respect. Apart from this, non-believers may be affected by national or state laws that are based on religious beliefs and limit the freedom of non-believers.

There is no standard collective noun for the noun 'believers'. However, there are collective nouns for the synonym 'worshipers', a congregation of worshipers, an assembly of worshipers, a gathering of worshipers.
