This is an interesting question and the answer is simple - Confusion. Confusion is the main reason Jews are hated so much. Why would I say that?

Christian's who do not study the biblical text but only skim the various versions are unaware of a few facts and therefore make incorrect conclusions.

1) It is assumed in many cases that the terms Hebrew and Israel are interchangeable with the term Jew and that all Hebrews are Jews. That simply is not true. The term Jew means to be of the tribe of Judah or a resident of Judea. Greeks referred to anyone from Judea as Jews. Jews are in some cases Hebrews of the house of Israel, however not all Hebrews are Jews. There are 12 tribes of the house of Israel. Look it up for yourself. Get a Strong's concordance and look up the word Jew.

2) Its assumed that the Jews killed Christ, again this is not factual as Christ himself identified kenites (sons of Cain) who were working in high offices within the synagog in Jerusalem, in the 8th chapter of the book of John (starting about verse 39). These Kenites were the ones who were plotting and planning to kill Christ all though the New Testament. They called themselves Jews but were identified by Christ himself as the sons of Cain and the progeny of Satan. Still people blame the Jews for Christ's death when in fact it was the Kenite's who lead the crowd to say "Crucify Him"

3) The third and final reason has to do with the old green eyed monster himself, "Jealousy", those who are not of the House of Israel are jealous of how our Father takes care of the members of the house of Israel. It seems as though they always do well and are blessed. People who worship some other prophet or god or goddess are envious and jealous of how our Father treats Judah (jews) as well as the remainder of the house of Israel. No two of the house of Israel are envied and hated in jealously more than those of the house of Judah and those of the house of Joseph (Ephram and Manasseh). You will find these represented by the State of Israel (Jews of Judah), the British (Ephram) and the USA (Manasseh).

Athenian Philosophia hate them because they refuse to bow down and worship their goddess under her various theocracies (Communism, Socialism, Progressivism) and her religions, philosophia and Liberation Theology.

Ishmalites hate them because they refuse to fall down and worship their god Allah of Muslim doctrine.

Even Christians hate Jews if they misunderstand the meaning of the word Jew and assume them responsible for the killing of Christ.

However Christ warned in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 there would be Ethnic hatred during the end times. The word nation against nation in those verses is actually ethnos against ethnos (its where the English word Ethnic comes from). Get a Strong's concordance and look it up for yourself.

Properly educating people is the only way to bring an end to the violence perpetrated by those who hate other ethnic groups. Unfortunately this will not occur until the Millennium. The Anti - Christ will bring all mankind together under a global peaceful order, but his global order is based upon a lie as he is actually not the true Christ who will straighten things out via the elect, some 5 months later during the 7th month which if you are Jewish you know contains the blowing of trumpets on the 9th day and the feast of tabernacles on the 14th day. That day of the blowing of trumpets is when the 7th Trumpet of the book of Revelation will sound.

First of all, if by Everybody, you mean the whole world, then is the whole world antisemitic?- NO- OF COURSE NOT.

But, the fact that this question is even being asked shows that this is more than an idea or theory, but rather a widely held belief by many people.

There is an odd phenomenon, that I as a Jew myself have witnessed, where I will travel to an area where the people have not even met a real live Jew their whole life, yet there is an aversion and almost dislike for them when the word 'Jew' is mentioned.

Why is this so?

* Economics? " Jews control all the wealth and power." ANSWER -- Throughout history Jews have lived as subjects under dictators and kingdoms (Russia, Greece etc..) where they had no influence and were denied the ability to earn wealth. Even when Jews live in poverty they were still disliked, so this can't be it. Also the fact there are some famous Jewish celebrities in Hollywood seems a highly unlikely cause for 'Jewish Hate'.

* Chosen People? "Jews are arrogant and claim to be the 'chosen people"

ANSWER--The Chosen People- are a group of people g-d chose to give the ten commandments to, and to follow his laws- ANYONE can be a chosen person- Everyone is free to read any Jewish literature and follow all of it, some of it, none of it or even convert to Judaism if you want- The same Holy scriptures that are available to the 'chosen people' are available to the world! you can CHOOSE them too. In addition- Many Jews of Germany denied their Jewishness or "Choseness." And worked on assimilation. Yet, the Holocaust started there.

* Scapegoats?

"Jews are a specific and convenient group to single out and blame for the world's troubles" ANSWER-- A group must already be hated to be an effective scapegoat. The Scapegoat Theory does not cause anti-Semitism. Rather, anti-Semitism is what makes the Jews a convenient scapegoat target. So this cannot be the cause of hate.

* Deicide? " Jews killed Jesus. " ANSWER-- the Christian Bible says the Romans (Pontius Pilate) killed Jesus, though Jews are mentioned as accomplices (claims that Jews killed Jesus came several hundred years later). How come the accomplices are persecuted and there isn't an anti-Roman movement or Roman pogroms throughout history? In addition- Jesus himself said, "Forgive them [i.e., the Jews], for they know not what they do." The Second Vatican Council in 1963 (Pope John Paul II) officially exonerated the Jews as the killers of Jesus. Neither statement of Christian belief from JESUS or from the POPE lessened anti-Semitism.

* Outsiders? "Jews are different. (The dislike of the unlike.) Jews separate themselves from us"

ANSWER- not true- EVERY SINGLE GROUP of people lives and works amongst people with similar values- Chinatown, little Italy, The Irish Catskills etc... are no Coincidence. In addition- Jews have lived under different rulers, cultures and societies and thrived as active members of the communities in which they existed. When many Jews rushed to assimilate into German Society during the early 1900's, Anti-Semitism should have stopped. Instead, the opposite held true : "Now we dislike you, not because you're different, but because you're trying to become like us! ' ...so that can't be it.

* Racial Theory ? "We are racist- and Jews are an inferior race."

ANSWER- even if you are racist or prejudiced, Jews are not a race. Members of every race, creed, ethnicity, nationality and color in the world are represented within the Jewish faith.So racism cannot be the cause of hate.

SO why does it seem that everybody hates the Jews and by extension Israel, the land that they inhabit? Why are bananas Yellow? and why do Hot dog buns come in packs of 8 when hot dogs sell by the dozen? Some answers are beyond logical reasoning.

There are movements in most of Europe and North and South America that accuse the Zionist Jews of aiming to take control of the whole world to the detriment of the gentile peoples.

Adolf Hitler and his associates engineered a mass extermination program known subsequently as the Holocaust.
