A:Christianity is a combination of many religions, its a plagiarized copy of Hinduism, Judaism, older Syrian/Babylonian religions, Egyptians and more. The key is indoctrination, and the need to be controlled and loved by a supreme being. Christians are aggressive people who would rather die living a lie than to accept truth, they corrupt, forge, change, records and facts to appear to be correct. That is why they have so many Followers, wiping out anyone who opposed them and stealing ideas from other religions people will switch to a belief that can change with time. The Bible is a fortune cookie people choose to understand and pick sections they like, that's why its so loved, you have hundreds of Christian Religions, from Catholic, to Mormons, Jehovah witness, baptists, Methodist etc...its easier to pick something you like, something that fits with what you like. During his lifetime Jesus attracted followers. This was because they believed his teachings. After he was crucified they saw him again, raised to life. This made them even more fervent in their devotion to him despite the fact that they were also in danger of suffering a similar fate.

Many people are attracted to Christianity by his teachings; they represent a very high moral standard that is attractive to many people, even though his teachings are hard to live up to.

Certainly Christians have done wrong things over time, and it is accepted that Charlemagne used the sword to expand his kingdom, and made the Saxon people convert from their traditional religion on pain of death. However, this kind of missionary expansion was not Jesus' plan: he taught his disciples to make "disciples" - willing followers - not force them to convert.

It is open to anyone to consider Christ's teachings, and to freely decide whether he is worth following.

well people long ago were making their own religions such as Islam, catholic, and so on. so different people wanted to know about each others religion. As they continued, they started to become popular. and that's how it is today
