In the biblical narrative, God replenished the earth after the Flood as a means of restoring creation and providing for humanity and all living beings once more. The Flood, seen as a divine judgment for widespread wickedness, necessitated a fresh start for the earth. By replenishing it, God demonstrated both His mercy and His commitment to the continuation of life, allowing for a new covenant with humanity. This act symbolizes hope, renewal, and the opportunity for redemption.
What Genesis 1:28 is basically saying is that God wanted them to Be Fruitful, And Multiply,And Replenish The Earth,And Subdue It,And Have Dominoin Over It which basically means that God wanted them to Take care of the Earth at least that is what I am thinking
Genesis 1:28 and Genesis 9:1.
Human-induced global warming is a rejection of Genesis 1:28, which requires man to 'replenish the earth'; an instruction to look after our planet.
The command to "be fruitful and multiply" given to Adam and Eve in the Bible was meant as an instruction to populate and fill the earth with their descendants. They were the first human beings created by God and were tasked with the responsibility of starting the human race.
I believe that he meant for a man and a women to get togather in marriage and reproduce a family.AnswerI believe it was God who said that and not Jesus; Gen.1[22] And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth,Gen.9[1] And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.Gen.35[11] And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply;AnswerHe was saying to spread the good news (God's word) to others, not that they should go off and have kids!
No Just Google It Dummie
No. Not so fast! Go to the Bible, Genesis 1.27 &28:"So God created man... ; male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, ....". Unless I'm mistaken, that means have children!
Earth is not named after a god, it was named after God when he built the earth.
God created the earth as a home for His spirit children. We were given mortal bodies, told to multiply and replenish the earth and to obey every word which proceeded forth from the mouth of God. It is a place where we will be without the presence of God, but will live by faith alone and by our good works. Here we are taught the gospel as delivered to us by God's prophets to guide us back to His presence. It is like a great school room where we are taught all that will help us return to that home from whence we came. If we are found to be worthy here we will receive all that God can reward us with when we return to Him.
The Egyptian god of earth was Geb.
Geb, God of the Earth
Christians say that God is everywhere and therefore on this earth. Others say that God is nowhere and therefore not on this earth.
