Why did God kill animal to make clothing for Adam and Eve?

Before they committed sin, they were allowed to live in harmony with the animals around them surviving on fruit and other vegetation.

But essentially, God punished them and nature became not so friendly anymore. They had to work to eat and survive.

God gave them the world, as He did us, for our enjoyment and use. This is why we are allowed to eat meat, as we are above animals in the eye of the Lord.

It is believed that the first clothing worn by Adam and Eve was the fig leaf, hence animals were not killed to make it. However, it is also true that according to the book of Genesis, people have dominion over all the animals of Earth, meaning that humans are in control, and we have authorization from God to kill animals if it suits our purposes to do so.

You may also wonder why it is that God did not simply create clothing the same way He created the universe, perhaps by declaring "let there be clothing!". There are many deep theological issues involved in such questions. For a somewhat simplified answer, I would say that it is the destiny of the human race to solve our own problems, not to have them all solved for us by God.
