In the King James version
Jesus says
* Joh 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
He does NOT say that he chose 'the' Devil.
Jesus' mission on earth was to be sacrificed. It required betrayal, and that required that someone close to him would do the betraying. Jesus needed to chose someone who would be typically human, or his mission could not be fulfilled.
Mat 4:1Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
The song basically is saying that First verse: when Jesus went on the cross, that there was a battle between good and evil. Jesus was the good, while the devil was bad- but Jesus cried out saying that it is finished and that he is the Lord. And the second verse: we are doing our daily battles with the devil, but when we let Jesus into our hearts, We have triumphed

o there is no such report in the bible. Matt 4:1-11 He was temped by the Devil , verse 12 ----- he began his ministry.
There is no Bible verse for John's death.
2Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, In this verse Paul introduces himself as an apostle of Jesus Christ. He had been commissioned to special service by the glorified Lord. This commission was not by men or through men, but directly through the will of God. Paul speaks of his apostleship as being according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus. God has made a promise that all who believe in Christ Jesus will receive eternal life. Paul's call to be an apostle was in harmony with this promise. In fact, if there had been no such promise, there would have been no need of an apostle like Paul.
According to the Bible verse, Jesus' profession was that of a carpenter.
There is no Bible verse that says that, because it is not true - Paul did meet Jesus on the road to Damascus. Acts 9:1-8Besides that, Paul could not be an apostle, had he never met Jesus, because his preaching would not have the same authority. Galatians 1:11-12 "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man, for I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ"
The Bible verse that discusses the concept that the devil was once an angel is Isaiah 14:12-15.
I can't find any verse that says that.
Revelation 20
The correct quotation is, "Jesus wept." It is found in the Gospel of St. John, chapter 11, verse 35.
