Because he got fed up with Mary
Jesus.
figure it out yourself
yes there was a permit of a kind. you had to get it from the king only
Jesus Christ himself said that there is no such thing as divorce. How could the Church contradict him by speaking in favor of divorce?
Both the Bible and Jesus teach that divorce is wrong because christian marriage is a partnership between a man and a woman forever. One of the promises made is that you will be 'Married to the grave'.
yes as jesus and the disciples portrayed at the last supper
No it is not at all true. As Jesus always spoke against adultery and divorce, and do not forget this Jesus was absolutely sinless.
Jesus, himself, said that divorce was not correct. 'Any man who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery. . . . '
Not that good, his personality took a downfall after his divorce with Jesus.
I would write "Jesus's." Some prefer "Jesus'." "Jesus's" is always acceptable. Some authorities permit "Jesus' " as an accepted archaism. ("Jesus' " could also refer to something belonging to a family named Jesu, as in, "the Jesus' house, where George Jesu and his parents live.") .

IMHO, it would be a divorce one obtained before repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior and Lord of their life.
