Ministry is to Minister to people, to serve. Jesus was ministering from birth, through what he did, the attitudes and behaviours he had, just like we have our own unique ministry.
However I assume you mean a formal ministry, in which I have no definite answer. All I can suggest is Jesus probably underwent Rabbi training, which takes many years to pass at the highest level. Jesus came to fulfil the Law, so he must have known the Scriptures and it's teachings inside out.
Hope that helps :-)
I believe he was 33 when he finished his earthly ministry.
Quite possibly up to the time of the start of His earthly ministry, which would have been 30 years plus.
Jesus himself tells us in the inspired word, "But Jesus said to him: 'Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head.'" Jesus's ministry largely entailed Galilee, Judea, Perea and Jeruselum. He did not stay in one place very long during his earthly ministry.
His ministry lasted a total of three and a half years. From the baptisim to crucifiction.
Jesus period of ministry is generally accepted a 3 years.
St. Anne was probably long dead before Jesus began his public ministry.
13 years ANSWER: Jesus in His ministry preached about 3 and one half years.
Jesus worked as a carpenter for an unspecified amount of time before beginning his ministry. The Bible does not provide a specific duration for his carpentry work.
Jesus's ministry on earth lasted roughly three years. From Jesus's baptism, which marked the beginning of his ministry, to his crucifixion at Calvary, a time of about three years elapsed.
Disciples were with Jesus approximately 3.5 years. Luke 3:23 "Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry". Scholars suggest Jesus began his ministry in 26/27 A.D and he died at about 33 years old in 30 A.D.
According to the Bible, Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights before beginning his ministry on Earth.
Jesus was likely a member of the Jewish sect the Essennes (many of his teachings parallel theirs), and he was a rabbi. To be a rabbi back then, the process is somewhat different than now, but generally one is required to go through a rigorous training process, and one spends a long time as a disciple to other rabbis before they can become a rabbi themselves. It's a matter of training time. Jesus likely spent most of the thirty years as a disciple in training.
