The Jews did not turn Judas. He did it voluntarily. However, the Jews jumped at the opportunity as they had been seeking a way to arrest Jesus.
Judas lead the Jews and priests to arrest Jesus.

Jesus had two disciples called Judas. One was Judas Iscariot, the other was just called Judas. Judas Iscariot is not known as Jesus brother, actually, he was the follower of Jesus that betrayed him to the Pharisees.
In the garden of Gethsemane Judas said nothing to Jesus, but had told the guards that the man that he kisses on the cheek is to be arressted. Jesus replied to Judas after the kiss, "You betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"
