He left to the land of Midian after he killed the Egyptian.
Abraham remarried, this time to a woman named Keturah. The children he had with her were: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. Joktan was the father of Sheba and Dedan. The descendants of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim and Leummim. The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were sons of Keturah. Genesis 25: 1-4
Notice the name Midian in the verse. That was the common ancestor of the Midians. So these people were also Hebrews from the line of Abraham and Keturah. Moses sons were Hebrews from both sides.
God told Moses to go back to Egypt.

to free his people
Moses was 40 years old when he ran from Egypt into the desert by himself and 80 when he returned back to Egypt. See Acts 7:23 and Acts 7:30.
Moses went to Goshen after he returned to Egypt from Midian, following God's command to lead the Israelites out of slavery. This event is described in the Book of Exodus, specifically in Exodus 4:18-20, where Moses gathers his family and heads back to Egypt. Upon his arrival, he meets with the elders of the Israelites in Goshen to convey God's message of liberation.
Tracing a family tree requires documentation of the birth, marriage and children of individuals. Such documentation does not exist in unbroken line back to Moses, not even for prominent families such as ruling dynasties and scholars. Therefore it is impossible to trace your family tree to Moses.
Moses found his brother Aaron and sister Miriam during his return to Egypt after fleeing to Midian. God commanded Moses to go back to Egypt to lead the Israelites out of slavery, and on his journey, Moses encountered Aaron, who was already on his way to meet him. The siblings reunited, and together they played key roles in confronting Pharaoh and leading the Israelites.
Aaron was the companion of Moses when they came back to Egypt to set free the Israelites
The first excuse Moses gave god, was that he could not speak as he had a stuttering problem. But god told him that his brother Aaron would do the talking for him.
