On the other hand, many archaeologists say they can find no evidence that there ever was a United Monarchy. All the evidence points to Israel and Judah always having been separate.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
GOD --The one True GOD, YHWH. GOD spoke to Abraham telling him to leave Ur & Haran, that he would make him a father of Great Nations. Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had Jacob, Jacob ( aka Israel ) had 12 sons making the 12 tribes of Israel.
No there isn't. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom and will remain like that until the people of Northern Ireland want to change that.
No.
Life will go on as usual. It will take 2 - 3 years to finalize the United Kingdom's leaving the EU. What could happen in the mean time is uncertain
Irish nationalism is only within the province of Ulster in Northern Ireland (part of the UK). A minority of the population want to leave the UK and become part of the Republic of Ireland.
1) In the time of Jacob, they left because of famine (Genesis ch.45-6). 2) In the time of the First Temple, the Ten Israelite Tribes were forcibly exiled by the Assyrians; and 133 years later, the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin were forcibly exiled by the Babylonians.
Israel.
'England' has nothing to do with Northern Ireland. The full name of the country is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Therefore, Northern Ireland is an integral part of the United Kingdom along with England, Scotland and Wales. The people of Northern Ireland held a referendum to decide if they wanted to remain part of the United Kingdom or become part of the Republic of Ireland. They voted overwhelmingly to remain part of the UK. A minority of people still want to be part of the Republic of Ireland but as a democracy, the will of the majority prevails. Incidentally, Northern Ireland has its own Parliament (Stormont) which is able to legislate on most things except for foreign, monetary and military policy.
The Scripture indicates that God never wanted the Kingdom of Israel to be split in two - He is not a divider of men. But due to the long apostasy of King Solomon, God divided the Kingdom in two as follows:1 Kings 11:31-33New International Version (NIV)31 Then he said to Jeroboam, "Take ten pieces for yourself, for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: 'See, I am going to tear the kingdom out of Solomon's hand and give you ten tribes. 32 But for the sake of my servant David and the city of Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, he will have one tribe. 33 I will do this because they have forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Molek the god of the Ammonites, and have not walked in obedience to me, nor done what is right in my eyes, nor kept my decrees and laws as David, Solomon's father, did.Even in this disarray, God's Plan for Mankind continued. Judah, which was David's tribe and the holder of the Scepter Promise of a future savior - manifested in Jesus Christ a descendant of David - would transpire as planned.Eventually, many of the tribes of Benjamin with some of Levi and finally Simeon, became the nucleus of the nation of the Southern Kingdom of Judah. These are the descendants living today in the Modern Nation-State of Israel (perhaps better called Judah).
There is no mention at all in the Torah of what specific day of the week Israel left Egypt.
Northern Ireland is a part of Britain/United Kingdom. It is not 'controlled' by Britain any more than England, Scotland or Wales are.In fact, it actually has more right to leave the United Kingdom than any of the other parts (due to the Belfast Agreement).
