The suggestion here is that your "friends" suffered some sort of demise. That OR you are questioning why your friends were not "saved" in the Christian sense (i.e. born again, redeemed, etc.). The answers will be given in the order suggested above.
If your friends died, regardless that you and/or others prayed for their lives to be spared, sincere regards, but no one can know the mind or purpose of God. Scripture teaches that all things have a reason, a purpose. That we do not know what the reason or purpose is means only that we do not know. There could be any number of eventualities that were necessitated by the deaths of loved ones. While this might seem a callous or heartless approach, it is neither. It is simple acceptance of something that most often no one can change.
If your friends did not realize Christian salvation, it is simply because they did not accept it. The Bible teaches that all who come are accepted.
they didnt
There is a big difference, Jesus is ageless, friends die, Jesus loves and came to save you from your sin.Friends can not and may not die for you.

no jesus didnt die on aids because he was crucified on a cross
No, Jesus didnt die for the Devil - he died for his people, us.
Servant leadership in action = Jesus.
A:The answer to this question is the same whether the sentence states a truth or not:'died' - past tense of 'to die''to save' - infinitive 'to save'
All Christians are Jesus' sons and daughters. Jesus had no son in the normal sense of physical descendants.
