Christians strongly believe that their religion is the one true religion. Some have difficulty accepting that followers of other religions believe just as strongly that their own religion is the true religion. There may even be a sense for some Christians that it is in some way irrational for others not to convert readily to Christianity, when told what Christians believe.
Some Christians also believe that they have a duty to convert followers of all other religions, to Christianity. Finally, it is a requirement among certain minor Christian sects and denominations for young adults to spend up to two years attempting to convert others.
There were no Christians in the time of Jesus. He was the begining of the Christian movement.

It depends on the Christian. It should matter much more to a Christian and to a Chistian same sex unions or marriages of any type are a terrible sin. Since they (Christians) should go by the teachings of Jesus and word of God (The Bible). But once again, it depends completely on who you ask and what that persons views are. Everyone will have their own viewpoint Christian or non-Christian. But keep in mind that God had made his thoughts about this known as well. (from the Christian point of view)

A:To be a Christian is to believe that God is real. Once a Christian begins to believe otherwise, he or she would no longer really be a Christian.
I would not think so, no. As with any fundamental faction in any religion I am sure they may be Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc that think everyone should be their religion. But in general this is not the case.
"Christians" is not a homogeneous group of people therefore there is no one way of thinking for those who are Christian. Christianity is a philosophy, not a religion, and out of it comes many different ways to view the world and how people should live.
"Mum, Dad, I'm a christian," Or, "Mum, Dad, are you sure you a christian?" Or "Mum dad i think I'm a christian," Or even "Mum, Dad, Are you christians?" Something simple like that.
