Answer 1
Who said that! they're exactly the same apart from Muslims pray 5 times a day and don't believe Jesus is the son of god.
Answer 2
No. They are not exactly the same and are in fact quite different religions. As concerns the issue of respect, Muslims are typically more concerned about the world insulting their traditions and their prophets than they are in pursuing a true and lasting equality with other religions. This was an attitude that most Christians had 500 years ago, but Christendom has become more open and accepting of other positions in the interim.
Christians in the Arab World are still treated as second class citizens because that is the place accorded them in the Qur'an. They are called "Dhimmi" which means that they are protected by Muslims. However, it raises the question "protected from what or from whom?". In the medieval period, before the Enlightenment and the creation of Natural Rights, a person only had what privileges were extended to him from the rulers and did not have the ability to claim that because he was a human being that he was entitled to some basic forms of respect. Muslims still operate on this premise of granted authority as concerns religious values. Christianity only has permission to perform religious actions not the liberty to perform them.
Since the Muslims believe that Jews and Christians were "People of the book", they received special treatment.
the christians were badly defeated by the Muslims and they did not even leave one Muslim alive but when saladin and noor jahngi came into the show christians were defeated very badly.
Treated them very badly and sometimes cut their ears off.
The golden rule will help, "treat others as you would have others treat you".
Never. All people should treat their fellow human beings equally and fairly. Do unto others as you would have people do unto you. What you would Not want done to you, is what you should Not do unto other people. All human beings are created in the image of God, and you should treat your fellow human beings as you would treat God himself.
Muslims are commanded to love and respect all.
christians
Muslims go to Mosques and Christians go to churches.
Arab Muslims as well as Arab Christians fought together the crusaders as invaders and not as Christians.
The crows. 1st-Christians 2nd-Muslims 3rd-Christians (somewhat) 4th-Muslims (Christians fighting Christians = Muslim victory) 5th-Muslims 6th-Muslims 7th-Muslims 8th-Muslims 9th-Not much of a crusade and many don't consider it one, nothing really accomplished.

Muslims do not encourage their children not to like Christians. Christians and Jews are people of the book as mentioned in the Quran and the people closer to Muslims are Christians as mentioned in the Quran. Muslims are allowed to marry Christians and Jews as they are people of the book. It is therefore a misconception on your part to think that Muslims are encouraged not to like Christians!
