Light is symbolic of the Light of Christ or the light of knowldge and truth. It is the opposite of darkness. Christ is the Light while Satan is nothing but darkness to light and truth. One may hear the saying "I have seen the light" meaning that one has a testimony of Christ and the truthfulness of the gospel. Coming into the Light is coming from ignorance to knowledge of the truth of all things. When one come to the Light of Christ one needs never fear the darkness again, for light banishes all darkness.

A myth is really a legend with a supernatural reference, and these are also to be found in the Bible and Koran. When we use the term 'mythology' in respect to religion, we should either use it for all religions without exception, or for none at all.

Well to be honest religions never compete. Stupid people usually use religion as a reason to compete and argue. So rather than asking about religions which "compete", I think it would be more useful to ask who are the people who use religion as an excuse to "compete". Faiyaz P.S.
