The equality of Sikhs in the gurdwara is shown, in the sense of everyone sitting at the same level. we all sit on the ground just like everyone else. equality is very important to the Sikh people. because in lots of cultures men are more superior to women. but in our culture we are all the same.
The Diwan hall is the prayer hall in the Gurdwara. Men and Women sit separately and children can sit on either side
