Why do heaven and hell exist?

Nearly all religions have a theology which offers people assurances that those who lived good lives will be rewarded when they die, and those who lived evil lives will receive punishment. The idea of a heaven and a hell can be found in many faiths. In addition to reassuring people that everyone will eventually get what they deserve (if not in this life, then surely in the world to come), heaven and hell can also be used for keeping believers in line, making them want to follow the rules of their faith: the fear of going to hell can be a motivator for some people to avoid sinful actions.

In some faiths, there is not a heaven and a hell, but there is reward and punishment through a concept called reincarnation, where the law of karma prevails: those who lived good lives will be reborn in a higher condition as a reward for their piety, while those who lived evil lives will be reborn in a condition of sickness or misery as punishment for their sinfulness.

To understand why heaven is above us and hell is below, we must know about the seven basic Hindu gods and their location in Purusha.

THE SEVEN BASIC HINDU GODS:

They are,

1. Indra / feet - god of day dreaming / god of heaven

2. Shakti / knees - god of illusion

3. Brahma / hip - god of creativity

4. Vishnu / abdomen - god of stabilization of life

5. Shiva / chest - god of determination

6. Shani / neck - god of Status increase

7. Yama / head - god of compulsion / god of hell

PURUSHA:

All the skeletal muscles of our body can isometrically contract (harden) and relax (soften) as though it were a single Unified Skeletal Muscle. In Hinduism it is known as Purusha.

The seven basic Hindu gods are the seven centers of gravity of Purusha.

1. Vishnu is the default Hindu god and the most reliable.

2. The peripheral gods are more powerful but less reliable.

3. The most peripheral gods Indra and Yama are the most unpredictable. Indra would trap us in a world of day dreams and Yama would make us compulsive. Therefore, these two gods are supposed to play a role after our death only.

THE HEAVEN ABOVE

As our center of gravity falls below our knees and tries to reach the feet, the modified dreaming/ Indra/ Heaven force in the feet would reflect it back to a point above our head.

This prevents us from getting trapped in a world of day dreams. The abstract dream can't find an outlet in the real world. It can find outlet in the heaven, which is abstract.

THE HELL BELOW

If the center of gravity tries to reach the head and make us compulsive, it is reflected back by the compulsive/ Yama / Hell force in the head, to a point below our feet. Such a low center of gravity won't permit action.

Hell symbolizes the virtual negative feed backs compulsive actions need, to make them socially acceptable.

God created every human being in love. He first loved them, and He has created all of them to live with Him eternally. That is called heaven, the state of seeing God and being happy with Him forever. It is not so much a place as a state, and when you are in that state, then you are in heaven. Hell is the opposite, and God did not create hell, He allows it to exist for those who reject Him. Hell is the state of permanent rejection of our happiness in God. Heaven was created by God for all those who love Him, hell was created by each individual who chooses themselves over God.
