ANSWER 2:Well the 1st answer is right, but more religiously, they prohibit pictures of Allah and Muhammad to be put in mosques because they think they are praising a picture, not the real Allah and Muhammad. So they don't allow them because they don't want to praise just a picture, they want to praise the real Allah and Muhammad.
