I imagine that in some people's minds they believe they are justified to god by committing particular sins, or honoring god by doing so. They may even think god has told them and directed them to commit such sins. Peoples individual ideas of the truth are sometimes wildly different from perceived reality.

Were do people go when they die?

A persons spirit is what leaves and it either goes to heaven if you dont commit man sins and if god forgives you for those sins as long as you really feel bad about the sins you commited. Or a persons spirit can go to hell if they commit sins and don't go to church to confess them selfs upon a priest(thats when god forgives people for their sins) but if people don't follow the 10 commandments and don't at least pray for god to forgive your sins you go to hell which is a bad thing obviously because your spirit is torchered and god is our creater which gives us eternal life if we go to heaven after some one dies.
