Science-"An organized body of knoweledge pretaining to all NATURAL events in the NATURAL UNIVERSE gained through observation and experimentation"
Science is only about the natural things while religion focuses on supernatural things. Just as a natural and Supernatural universe co exist, science and religion do.
Both attempt to question the status quo and test the boundaries of human experience. Of course, both also have extremes of practice which go too far from the sociological norm and cause chaos. Either the attempt to size power through knowledge and stifle development in an attempt to keep that power; or to go too far and take liberties with rights or court the most dangerous of experiments.
Opinion: There need not be any conflict. A scientist can believe that God exists, that God created the universe and that God hears our prayers. Many scientists believe in God.
Yes. They are not mutually exclusive.
There are scientists who still believe this to be possible. There has really been no clear evidence to indicate that they are mutually exclusive. Only opinions, assumptions and conjecture that varies depending on the scientist you are talking to. There has been nothing discovered by science that would indicate there not being an intelligent designer. There have, however, been many discoveries that do point convincingly to intelligent design.
I am Muslim and in our religion we do believe in ghosts as "Gin" they do exist and we do believe in them. It is in our religion.
Why scientists believe a liquid water ocean might exist on the moon Titan
the inability of science and religion to blend
That it, and we, exist.
scientists believe it.
Since the natural selection is a theory, we can not apply a theory as a science. Even though some scientists believed in natural selection: think of Nazi scientists, Soviet scientists, etc. They were 100% evolutionist believers. Nobody yet seen atoms but we believe that they exist...strange. We apply faith in some modern science...hmmm...
Both religion and science stem from the need of explanation how human come to exist and how the world around us work or created.
It's all about religion. You can believe what you want.
scientists believe there are 118 different kinds of elements
I believe aliens might exist somewhere in the universe, but I don't believe any stories about UFOs or abductions or crop circles or anything like that. -------------------------------------------- A good answer. I don't *believe* in aliens because I have seen no proof of them, and belief without proof is faith (religion) not science.
Someone answered this and said 'a big worm' some believe that is is just a hoax sorry!
