Labeling any group of people as broadly as the question suggests is stereotypical and wrong. Not all Baptists preach hatred. However, there are certain people, that claim to be Christian, that do not act like Jesus Christ acted and do preach hatred instead of love.
The Apostle Paul mentioned certain acts, such as immorality and homosexuality, at 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 as not being fit for a Christian. That being said, another thing he mentioned in the same passage is "reviling" as not being right for a Christian to do. Reviling means to speak abusively about another person in order to degrade them.
Unfortunately, some professed Christians forget reviling was mentioned in the same passage with these other unrighteous acts, so they end up violating the same passage of The Bible that they are condemning other people for violating.
Paul was writing to Christians here, and earlier in the letter he made it very clear that God is the judge of those outside the faith and individual Christians have no right to judge them or teach that they are hated by God. (1 Corinthians 5:12,13)
Perhaps Fundamentalist Baptists preach against masturbation---but then again, many religions preach it is a sin. However, it is a human need. Almost every person has masturbated at least once, and most people masturbate throughout their lives.
Ayatollah Khomeini was convinced that America has colonized Iran and the Shah of Iranis America's puppet government.
The Nazis were first and foremost a hate party. They simply loathed: * Jews * Gypsies * Communists * Socialists * Liberals * Homosexuals * Democracy * SlavsJews
All Baptists are Christians, but not all Christians are Baptists.
