I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and have never heard any doctrine, read any scripture, or seen any Church material that claims that a husband can choose whether or not his wife will go to "heaven". Also keep in mind, the "Mormon" view of heaven is very different than the traditional Christian view of heaven.

I guess some women might believe that, but that is not a belief of the church as a whole. We believe that any person will make it to heaven based on his or her own personal choices, and the atonement of Christ. None of it is based on whether or not some other human thinks we made it or not. If the husband isn't doing the right things, and the wife is, he can't keep her from heaven.

Does my husband in heaven hear me when I talk to him?

There is no definitive answer to whether your husband in heaven can hear you when you talk to him. Different belief systems and religions have varying perspectives on this matter. Some people believe that loved ones in heaven can hear and communicate with those on Earth, while others believe that they cannot. Ultimately, it is a personal belief and interpretation.

Will a sanctified wife's unsaved husband go to heaven?

I'm a Christian and I believe that a person must be saved to go to heaven. Saved by association, I'm afraid, doesn't count. However, I do believe that it is the job of the "sanctified" wife to live her life as an example to her husband and plant the seed of the Word of God at every opportunity and of course, pray as I will pray for you and your husband.

How do you get to Heaven according to Mormonism?

By repenting of your sins through Jesus Christ, becoming a more Christlike person, and acknowledging Jesus Christ as our Savior. While the Mormon (LDS) religion does believe that there are other ordinances that need to be preformed (such as being baptized by one holding authority and Priesthood of God, and being sealed to your family for all eternity (if you want to be)), they do believe that good people who try to live Christlike lives will get to Heaven too.

Whether the soul goes to heaven immediately is not the issue. Heavenly beings do not interpret time as we do, so the passage of time is irrelevant and the soul chooses when they go to heaven.
