Why does the world reject Christ?

There are alot of reasons why the world rejects Jesus Christ. It has to deal with what a person's beliefs are, religion, culture and so on. I would say that it is a hard thing to see this pleasurable world, with all its glamour and tempting temptations and leave it out to serve someone that they haven't even seen. It is so sad but it is a reality, they think that what they see every day around them is real, but what is unseen is more real that what is seen. Apparently, when they die they can take all their priced possesions and victory awards with them, but they fail to realize the biggest prize they are lossing out on is the prize of eternal life in heaven with a GOD, a living GOD that in a few seconds spoke all what they have now into being. But as the word says, all men shall bow their knees and lift their voices and proclaim that Jesus Christ is LORD when HE returns, if they want to or not. Jesus rules.

Some people reject Christianity because it truthfully doesn't appeal to them. Saying that they are sinners however, is crossing the line. some people don't "accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior" because they honestly don't see

1) how he's a savior of theirs specifically

2) aren't even sure he existed and if he did it is unproven that he's the "son of god"

and

3) they might just be of a different faith as Buddhism, Judaism, or even Islam.

if your question is why people bash Christianity i think it's because of the ultra-radicals who "speak or act for god."

Granted, everyone has a problem- every religion can and will have radicals that take things too far. But through history Christianity, or more so, the Catholic Church has had more documented instances.

In a world where humanistic views are becoming more prevalent, people do not like being told what they need to be saved, that some of their decisions in life are sinful, and that they need forgiveness. They do not like to commit to the belief that Jesus is the only way to reach God. Because they already have these presuppositions about Christianity, it may be hard to convince them otherwise. In order to be effective in the Christian faith, you must know what other religions and philosophies believe.

If you read all the passages where Jesus speaks you will notice that he often says most humans reject the things of the Spirit, God, the Kingdom of God and righteousness. The sinful human creature does not love holiness or light. The human creature loves darkness and sin. Jesus was very direct in saying that few would chose the Kingdom of God and Him and eternal life. He came for all but not all will receive him. It is heartbreaking but we still have to obey his command to preach the Gospel to the entire world even when many will reject him. Satan has human heavily deceived while he "rules" the world but one day when Jesus returns that deception will lifted from their eyes. Everyone will have to bow to him and confess that he is the almighty God who is magnificent.

People who reject the Christian gospel do not reject morality or the rule of law. Usually they make an informed decision based on:

• A soundly based belief that there is no God
• A soundly based belief that Jesus did not perform miracles
• A soundly based belief that Jesus did not rise from the dead, as described in The Bible.

They find that Christianity as a belief system is full of inconsistencies, based on inconsistent scriptures. They see no reason to blindly follow what others believe.
