Lavender that has been over watered will grey and die. It needs really good drainage and not a lot of water.
Lavender generally grows best in a climate that is not too hot and humid. Caboolture (southeast Queensland) is an area where frequent summer storms can hit, and too much soaking rain will kill off lavender. If you try to grow lavender, either keep it in a well-drained pot, or have it higher up, where the water can drain away.
Basicly, it is water tension.
Dark rain clouds are what happens to every cliunds when it gets heavy with water. They look dark because there's allot if water and the water falls from them as rain.
rain all depends on the water cycle. It takes a long time to explain but look at thisif that doesn't help and you want specifics then look at this This is the best i have

During precipitation, a water particle is released from the clouds. This particle can be in the form of a water droplet of rain, sleet, snow, freezing rain or even hail.
We can make good use of rain water by storing rain water and by rain harvesting.
Not enough rain in Ca. Olallieberries like plenty of rain and mild temperatures.
When you see rain falling from the sky, that water is in the "precipitation" stage of the water cycle. This means that the water vapor in the atmosphere has cooled and condensed into liquid water droplets, which then fall to the ground as rain.
Well , what happens is our sun evaporates water . The water condenses high up in the clouds . and then boom we have precipitation . There may be rain, hail, snow, or sleet . It just matters what the temperature is when the water is being condensed. To get into more information about how we get rain , i suggest that you look it up or ask a teacher.
