Why hasn't Jesus come back to life again?

A:Whether or not Jesus of Nazareth was a real person is beside the point. Christians believe he was, and that he was the Son of God. Even those who do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God still believe that Jesus was a real person. Perhaps the Jesus of the gospels was a literary invention, loosely based on a real Jesus of Nazareth, or perhaps there was no Jesus of Nazareth. There is no proof one way or another.

It is not within Jesus' power to decide when to come back. Jesus has a Boss (i.e. God) and Jesus himself does not know when the Boss )i.e. god) will call and send him back again.
