Why is guru Har Rai important to Sikhs?

becoz guru gobind singh ji said that now this holly book is your guru and Sikhs always follows the order of his guru. guru granth sahib ji is asuperior holly book. whole world is inside the book.

human needs teacher right from birth. mother is first teacher of a child. there is much ignorance and darkness prevails on this earth. only knowledge given by true guru can dispel this darkness. The cause of all sufferings is the man's ego, lust, and greed. When greed is not fulfilled desire rises, when desire is not fulfilled anger develops. Ego is the main cause of all sufferings. Man can be happy, if he gives up his ego. But then how and whom to give up him self - his own ego. He must be a really true friend, a well wisher, believable, protector, powerful and great. So is the need of the True Guru.

The word 'Guru' means teacher. Us Sikhs believe that the Gurus were sent by God to teach us the perfectway of life.
