It is the sin nature of man that causes the sin in this world. The Bible says that God would give man over to a reprobate mind if he would not follow him. Many people have fallen away from God and have not returned thus they are following their reprobate mind!

A:

Basically three reasons:

1. Because mankind had a tendency to do what is bad in the first place.

The Apostle Paul remarked of this in Romans 7:21; "I find, then, this law in my case: that when I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me."

This is because of mans sinful state as we're all decedents from Adam and Eve who originally sinned towards God. (Romans 5:12)

2. We live in a world which is ruled by Satan.

This was bought out in (Matthew 4:8, 9) where Satan showed Jesus the "kingdoms of the world" if he would bow down and worship Satan (Jesus did not deny this) In 1 John 5:19 brings out that "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one" This is why we have so much corruption, lawlessness, and immorality today.

3. Independence:

The world has lost it's morals because of it's decision to become independent from God. The moment Adam and Eve decided for themselves of what was right and what was wrong. That's when Gods right to rule mankind was placed in question. Satan essentially was telling Adam and Eve that they didn't need God.

The Bible informs us that it's only God's government has the ability to clean away the filth in the world we live in. (Daniel 2:44, Psalm 37:11, 29)
