Moses was sent away from Egypt after he killed an Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew slave. Fearing for his life and the repercussions of his actions, he fled to Midian, where he lived in exile for many years. This period of separation ultimately prepared him for his future role as a leader and the liberator of the Israelites from slavery.
He was at home.
Moses brother Aaron spoke for him.
The curse of leprosy was not sent upon the wife of Moses. The curse was sent upon his sister, Miriam, when she and brother Aaron spoke against Moses and his wife.
god
Moses was a Hebrew. He was said to be the deliverer and he was. He sent the Hebrew's out of Egypt!
I want to know too!! I read one link (http://peebles.wordpress.com/2008/08/16/exodus-182-niv-%e2%80%9cmoses-had-sent-away-his-wife-zipporah-his-father-in-law-jethro-received-her%e2%80%9d/) .Originally in Ex 18:2 it mentions the wife being sent away and Jethro took her. It is implied that it may have been that Moses was overwhelmed or too busy with leading Israel. However in 18:5 it says that Jethro visited Moses again and he encouraged Moses to manage his responsibility better through delegation. Jethro also believed in his God, and supported Moses. Then in Ex 18: 27, it says that only Jethro was sent away and returned to his own country.. implying that Zipporah and his sons stayed with Moses... Unlike how it was depicted in the movie "The Ten commandments".. would u agree with my interpretation?
Tell them I am sent you.
Sent away WHERE? Sent away by WHO? Sent away for what REASON? As a general answer - you can't be "sent away" (I assume you mean to jail) if you haven't broken any laws.
aye, by moses
Sinai
Moses was supposed to tell the Israelites that God had sent him to lead them out of slavery in Egypt and to the promised land. He was to convey God's message of deliverance and provide instructions for their journey and obedience to God's commands.
