It is unlikely that a major world faith system like Christianity would be suddenly replaced in one year. Mystic beliefs that attempt to mix the scriptures about Jesus with other ideologies (such as numerology, fortune-telling or paganism etc.) have cropped up throughout history, however most have failed to propagate or flourish for long periods of time. The most likely way that Christianity would be "replaced" with mysticism would be over long periods of time in which people did not strictly enforce faithfulness to the scriptures or the time-honored teachings of dedicated Christian thinkers. It is usually a gradual crumbling of ideology that destroys faith systems and cultures, not sudden upheavals.
