The Holy Spirit produces this fruit in a Christians life. A lot of the fruit usually doesn't come quickly, but increases over time as the person matures. The Christian really doesn't "bear" this fruit but it shows in his/her life.
The "fruit of the Spirit" refers to the qualities that are believed to be produced in a person's life through the influence of the Holy Spirit. These qualities include love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. When a person exhibits these traits in their actions and interactions with others, it is seen as evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit in their life.

Ananias and his wife Sapphira sold a piece of land. They had told God (Holy Spirit) that they would donate the price of the land to the church. But when Perter questioned them as they had only given a portion of the price to the church then fear came into Ananias's heart and he died. When his wife came in Peter questioned her also and she died. Some commentators say Ananias and Sapphira were unbelievers who had joined the church and were full of hypocrisy and were selfish people. Being unbelievers Satan was in control of their lives. Sin in your life can lead to an early death. Others say that because they lied to the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit took their lives.
The Quran, or Koranic, verses that call for hatred and the fighting with the unbelievers are scattered throughout the Quran because the Muslims beliefs are set in stone. They believe that those who are unbelievers do not deserve the same treatment after life or during that they do.
There is a vital relationship between the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is the practical manifestation of Christ in the life of the believer; it offers evidence of the reality of Jesus within. The gifts of the Spirit have to do with spiritual abilities and are endowments bestowed upon the believer by God. As the word "fruit" suggests, the fruit of the Spirit takes time to develop while the gifts are freely given by God. Paul's writings in the New Testament give us indication that though we may have a gift given to us by God, it is of little use without His character developed within us.
Paul being a Christian most certainly had the fruit of the Spirit in his life. The fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22 is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These are some of the best qualities anyone could have.
