Your question is not clear. What kind of conversion? Many saints experienced some form of conversion during their lives. A few in particular are St. Paul, St. Augustine and St. Francis of Assisi. Each experienced a different type of conversion.
St. Moses the Ethiopian and St. Mary of Egypt are two examples of saints who were murderers before they repented and turned to a life of penance and holiness. Both of them are recognized for their profound conversion experiences and their eventual sanctity.

The prayers for the conversion of Russia were recited after Mass, when Mass was in Latin prior to Vat II. I don't remember them having been "tagged" to the end of the Litany of the saints.

The Puritans wanted to push the Church of England into a new purified church. They did not like the church did not restrict membership to visible saints only that had experienced conversion.
