Exodus 22.18: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
The bible never said that God created witchcraft. In fact, it strictly forbids it with a penalty of death. Ex:22:18: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Deut:18:10: There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
King James of England often wrote and spoke about Witchcraft. He was obsessed. He is also the namesake of the King James Version of the Bible. He changed the bible to say "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live" from "Thou shall not suffer a poisoner to live."
"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" ( EXODUS 22:17) prettty much sums it up. I've always wondered tho' if you do try to do in a real witch, couldn't it get a bit nasty for you? Best to just stick to old ladies who mutter as they walk.
The third witch
Endor.
Probably based on English Common Law of the time which took references to the King James version of the Bible: Exodus (22:18) says, Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. And Leviticus (20:27) says, A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood (shall be) upon them.
Because most Christians believe that wiccans worship the devil because they are partaking in witch craft.More accurately, this is an extension of the mistranslated passage from Exodus.Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. (Exodus 22:18)The original text uses the word, m'khashepah. It was translated in the King James version of the Bible as "witch," which is also the word Wiccans use to refer to themselves. The word m'khashepah literally means "one who uses spells/charms/potions to cause harm." It is common Wiccan practice to use the Craft (spells, incantations, and charms) in the practice of their religion. So, by extension, anyone who practices the Craft or who is Wicca (refers to him or herself as a witch), is a witch, and subject to disdain or dislike by adherents of Christianity.

The witch at Endor is the only witch actually mentioned in the Bible. There are other references to witches but she is the only one mentioned specifically.
why dost thou wish to dehydrate yon potato? Ist thou a witch? Shalt thou repent, or be burned at yon stake!
In the Hebrew Bible, the home of a witch is known as Endor. Saul disguised himself to go to meet with the witch. The location was behind enemy lines, and Saul needed to keep his identity private, and hidden from the Philistines.
