Most Protestant Christians don't use anything when they pray. It is a conversation between them and God and no props are needed. Some Christians use prayer beads to 'count' prayers. Some that are at a loss for words may read from the Book of Common Prayers.
Catholic and especially Orthodox Christians involve their bodies in praying - crossing themselves, kneeling, bowing, etc.
Also, it may seem obvious, but people also use words when praying. They don't just "feel" stuff, but formulate supplications or praises.
Also, when praying in groups, people also use a leader. Someone says a bunch of stuff and everybody who respectfully pays attention with a feeling of inward assertion of the contents is assumed to be praying the same thing.

However, of course are not going as tourist but you going to participate in the Friday praying. accordingly, you should:know how to say al-Shahada, faithfully and knowingly,learn the praying rituals,wash for praying (major or minor ablution, as required) before going to mosque, andlearn how to say at least Al-Fatiha (first Quran chapter), and how to say 'Al-TASHAHUD' .Then, if you, as Christian, if are prepared, faithfully and knowingly, to do the above actually you are no longer Christian and you are Muslim.
