The Bible does not explicitly state that without preaching that Jesus poured out his blood there's no Gospel. However, there are many places in the Bible that speak of Jesus' sacrifice and his death on the cross. Here are some of the most significant passages that relate to this concept:

  • Matthew 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
  • John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  • Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace.
  • Hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
  • 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

These passages all point to the powerful truth that without Jesus' sacrificial death and pouring out of his blood, there would be no Gospel. It is through his death and resurrection that we can be made right with God and have eternal life.
