2 Peter 3:8 - But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

This verse doesn't mean that one day on earth equals a thousand years in heaven, or that one day in heaven equals a thousand years on earth; it simply means that God does not regard time as man does, because He is not bound by it. Peter's statement was intended to encourage patience on the part of believers, many of whom thought that Jesus' Second Coming was imminent.

The Bible refers to things happening "quickly" that take hundreds, or even thousands of years to unfold by man's reckoning. For example:

Revelation 22:20 - He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Nearly two thousand years have passed since that passage was written. That's a long time to men, but no more significant than a couple of days to God.

According to the Bible, Jehovah God created the Heaven and Earth. (Genesis 1:1) Jesus assisted Jehovah in this, having been involved with all things created after he himself was created by Jehovah. (Colossians 1:15-16) (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)

What event marks the end of Luke's Gospel and the beginning of Acts?

Luke's Gospel and Acts of the Apostles were written by the same author, long assumed to be the apostle Luke. The Gospel was written first, with Acts apparently written after an interval, during which some of Luke's assumptions may have changed.Luke's Gospel ends when the risen Jesus last spoke to the disciples and was then taken bodily up into heaven on the evening of the day of his resurrection.Acts begins when the risen Jesus, who had remained on earth for forty days, seen by many, last spoke to the disciples and was then taken bodily up into heaven.

Do you automatically go to heaven if follow the Ten Commandments?

No. There's only a limited amount of people that go to Heaven: 144,000. These are all handpicked by Jehovah God and Jesus. (Revelation 14:1-4) So what happens to everyone else, since there's more than that many righteous/good people on the Earth? According to the Bible, the majority of the righteous people will live forever on Earth in the future. This will be the case after Jehovah destroys all of the evil people of the world during Armageddon. (Psalm 37:10, 11, 28-29; Proverbs 2:21-22; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9) In both cases, following the 10 Commandments (and more importantly, following the commandments that Jesus highlighted while on Earth) will assist in helping a person to be seen as righteous by Jehovah, as well as giving us the opportunity to have a personal friendship with Him. (Psalm 15:1-5) (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)

Theory of divine origin?

The theory of Divine Origins is a theory most Christians and Jews teach. This theory states that God, the Almighty being, created the earth out of nothing. This took seven days to complete. On Day 1 he created the earth and heaven. On Day 2 he created the light and the dark. On Day 3 he split heaven from earth. On Day 4 he gave the earth water. On Day 5 he created all the plants on earth. On Day 6 he created all the animals on earth. On Day 7 he was pleased with his work and decided to rest, marking the beginning of the Sabbath.
