All Methodists are Evangelists, but not all Evangelists are Methodists. Methodism was born our of Evangelism when some Evangelical preachers were so vigorous in their preaching and reaching out to the population that they were banned from several anglican churches and chose to preach in the open air. It's more complicated than that but in general they are much the same.
