Christians are not prefect. Nobody is. As such, this is why a savior was needed. Christians are not perfect, but they are saved because of what Jesus did on the cross. Through the shedding of His blood, we are saved through faith in Him as our Lord and Savior. I'm sure other Christians can state this better than I.
Even after a Christian is saved, they are still not perfect and sin just like everybody else, but they are supposed to try not to just because God wouldn't want them to.
Not all Christians are mean and judgmental. It's important to remember that individuals' behavior is shaped by their own beliefs, experiences, and interpretations of religious teachings. It's unfair to generalize all Christians based on the actions of a few.
Had prayed is the past perfect of pray.
All Methodists are Christians . Not all Christians are Methodists . The Methodists church is a mainline protestant , Anglican church , One of many denominations . Christians can be Catholics , Protestants , Orthodox or others . source : I am a Methodist
Christians were martyred in various locations throughout the Roman Empire, such as the Colosseum in Rome, arenas in Carthage and Smyrna, and in the amphitheaters of other cities. Eventually, martyrdom of Christians spread to different regions beyond the Roman Empire as well.
Definitely not. Paul preached his message to Jews and Gentiles. His letters to the congregations were addressed to Christians, but Paul himself traveled widely in order to spread Christianity to non-Christians.
Yes.
Many Christians actually acknowledge themselves as sinners, in no way perfect. Recent revelations about sexual promiscuity and even criminal acts by members of clergy in various Church denominations demonstrate clearly that Christians can no longer be regarded as inherently perfect, even if they were once regarded as such. It is also reported that Christians are over-represented in our prison systems, compared to persons of no faith. There are many good Christians in this world, just as there are many good people of other faiths and no faith, but if people think of Christians as perfect it is simply a misunderstanding of the facts.
possibly just because they say they are Christians it doesn't mean they are perfect everyone has their opinion. In my opinion no-one should be racist.
In Christianity, Christ is acknowledged as fully human and fully God. He is the model for Christians because he was/is without sin; he was, in fact, perfect.
Although you could trust all Christians, such is probably not the best idea. Christians are just normal people. (A good saying is: "Christians are not perfect; just forgiven.") Some Christians are trustworthy and some are not. So I would not suggest trusting all Christian people.
Not while they are on this earth in earthly bodies. A Christian will only reach perfection after he/she has gone on to be with the Lord. Christians commit sin all the time, but don't live in habitual sin and they confess their sin to God very frequently, to be in fellowship with Him. So by being sinful we can never be perfect on this earth. We see the word perfect used in Scripture, but that means that we are becoming more mature in the Christian life, not becoming perfect.
Christians are supposed to use the inspirational people in the bible to inspire them to live a good life and follow the ten commandments. They do not have to be perfect, because they except that Jesus is the only person who can be perfect. They need to keep faith in God and try to live and teach his word in order to get into heaven, the ultimate and everlasting life.
Numerous groups and denominations of Christians believe that the time of miracles has passed. Many of them use 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 as a foundation, saying that the "perfection" or "that which is perfect" is the Bible.
AnswerChristians believe that God created people. Whether the body is perfect or not, they believe creation to be a gift.
Yes, many, and infact most people who claim to be "Christians" are hypocrites. Some people just say they are, but are really not. So it may seem that all Christians are hypocrites but some really do follow the rules. Believe me, no one is going to be perfect and sinless because the bible says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" but that is why there are so many hypocrite Christians.
In Jewish thought, absolutely. There is no such thing as a perfect person in Judaism, nor is there any requirement to be perfect. Even the messiah will have flaws, because he will be an earthly leader, and not a divine sacrifice. In Christianity, absolutely not. Most Christians view of Jesus is that he was the son of God and perfect in every way.
Christians came about from Jesus Christ. If they accept that he did that for them, they become Christians...and well, they have to try to live like him, obviously they aren't perfect like him, but they need to try to love everyone, and accept people others don't. A lot of the time they blend in with non-believers, or stand out in a bad way, but there are ones trying to show Christ's love.
