SHORT ANSWER : No, of course not !
He was most certainly dead and then He was also just as certainly seen alive on the third day afterwards. He was also seen by various people at different times. He also ate food to prove He was not just a spirit. Many of the same witnesses also saw Him ascend into heaven. John later saw Him in His glory when John was on the island of Patmos.
The overall New Testament witness was that Jesus was and is the eternal creator of the universe, come down to perform a saving work for the whole world. As the eternal creator He is 'alive forevermore.' Death could not hold Him. He thus is alive right now.
Other people who have died have not such attestation or witness.
Answer
Jesus is always with us. He may not be in a human formation, but he is in our souls, hearts, and minds. Nobody knows when he will come again, accept for God. And when Jesus does come again to earth as a human, the mountains will tremble and the seas will turn to dust. Jesus is always with us and he is alive and working in our hearts, but he just isn't in "human" formation. Yes and no. Jesus died from our world but he was sent to the third. There is the living world, a middle world (not necessarily the after world but before heaven and hell. when we die a family member will walk us into a light and we will be judged to be in the good part of the world or the bad part. (judged on our deeds), and heaven and hell. Those are three worlds and not too many people know about them. Bible answer: Yes. Forty days after His resurrection (Acts 1:3), Jesus ascended into heaven and "sat down" at the "right hand of God," where He now makes intercession for His true disciples. Some references:
Luke 24:50, 51 - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.
Romans 8:34 - Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Hebrews 4:14 - Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Hebrews 8:1, 2 - Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.
Hebrews 10:12 - But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,
1 Peter 3:21, 22 - There is also an antitype which now saves us - baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Answer:
Bible testimony tells us that He is alive:
"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve...
"and last of all He appeared to me also... Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what YOU BELIEVED." (I Cor.15:3-11 NIV)
"...if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your Faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses [liars] about God, for we have testified about God that He RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD. But He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised... And if Christ has not been raised, your Faith is futile; you are still in your sins..." (verses 14-17)
"But CHRIST HAS INDEED BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD, the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [died]." (verse 20)
"...why do we endanger ourselves every hour? I die every day -- I mean that, brothers -- just as surely as I glory over you in Christ Jesus our Lord. If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for merely human reasons, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, 'Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.'" (verses 30-32)
"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." (verse 58)
The testimony of The Bible is that Jesus is alive right now -- and FOREVER.
Jesus only required his followers to have faith in him, like that of a mustard seed. He only asks his followers to believe in what he did for them by dying on the cross, to believe that he is real and living today, and to believe that his love for those who love him is an everlasting love. he requires them to confess their sins, believe in their hearts the Jesus is Lord and to proclaim the gospel of Salvation through faith in him. All that Jesus has ever required those who believe in him to do is just that. Believe. Even those who follow him now. simply believe that your soul has been saved by the maker of the universe, and be sincere. that is the faith Required by Jesus, Faith like that of a child, Faith as small as a mustard seed.
No, there is no evidence or historical record that Jesus's headboard from the cross has ever been found. The focus of Christian faith is on the resurrection and message of Jesus, rather than artifacts or physical remains.
31 At that very hour, some Pharisees came to Jesus and told Him, “Leave this place and get away, because Herod wants to kill You.” 32 But Jesus replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.’ 33 Nevertheless, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day, for it is not admissible for a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem. (Luke 13:32)
Joseph faced many of the same problems faced by all fathers, even today - trying to make a good living to support his family. Joseph faced addtional problems to keep Jesus safe from King Herod who wanted to kill him.
