Can a person live forever

No, humans cannot live forever. Most humans only live to the ages of 75 to 80. But an increasing percentage are reaching the age of 90 to 100 years old.

Medical advances are increasing the human lifespan. Estimates are that we are reaching the point that each year improved medical care is adding at least a year to people's lifespans. Between growing new organs, transplant technology, improved repair technologies and gene therapy it is, at least, likely that we will have significantly extended lives.

The only way to live "forever" would be to remove the human mind from the inevitably failing human body, and this is only speculative Science Fiction.

No it is impossible according to Doctor Anthony Ippolito. But doctors are making stem cells and what this does is it affects the growth of new body parts. For example if your heart stops because of the cause of old age doctors will be able to grow a new one from living cells.

Nobody has really achieved this so far. Now, if you are religious, you believe that you have an immortal soul. At least, many religions believe in some sort of afterlife. In this case, if you believe that, the answer is yes.

You and I as human beings live, essentially, forever. The secret is infinity combined with the fact we only know of 117 elements. The long answer to this is, indeed, very long. But the first step is to get your head around the concept of infinity... If you can do that, and it is not as easy as it seems,, then you are on your way to realizing that you have existed endless times before, are existing in uncountable duplicates right now,,, and will continue to repeat over and over. We did not always exist but now that we have, we will exist forever.

At our current stage of technology, no. However, I could imagine some future time where we could simply replace organs when each tires out (the same way that you can change out car parts when they break down). Or, there may be a way to upload consciousness onto some digital medium. Either of the latter two would be an eternal life in this world.
