The Bible defines God the following way. The creator of the heavens and the earth. Read Genesis 1: 1; Revelation 4: 11.

As our Father who has a name and lives in heaven. Read Matthew 6: 9,10.

Psalms 83: 18 tells us what His name is in these words. " May people know that you whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth".

As a Potter in Isaiah 64: 8 in these words. " O Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our Potter; We are the work of your hand".

Exodus 34: 6 describes God as someone merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and abundant in loyal love and truth.

However the global Flood shows that God can wipe out every living thing from the surface of the earth, when it becomes full of violence. Read Genesis chapter 6 and 7.

God has and still has a purpose for the human race, which is that mankind live forever on earth. Psalms 37: 29 reads. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it".

John 17: 3 tells us what to do to be able to be part of the righteous ones, in these words. " This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ, who was sent on earth by Jehovah God, to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo the damage caused by Satan. Read John 3: 16; 1 John 3:8

Exposition of where love is there god is also?

This all makes the assumption that God exists. If he doesn't than the entire post is irrelevant. But in the Christian religion people usually define God as love and so that would mean that God equals love and love equals love so by definition God is required to be wherever love is. Also people claim that God is omnipresent (present everywhere) so wherever love is God would be as well (and wherever hate is God would be there also).

What would the cardinal attributes of GOD mean?

Attribute refers to "how God is". For example, He is usually believed to be all-powerful, all-knowing, benevolent, etc. "Cardinal" means, those attributes which are considered most important.

The differences between the six major religions?

The greatest differences between the major religions is, truth, and how they define God. With truth being an objective reality and God being the creator of reality, only the religion that reflects reality could be true, and be worthy of trust.

Why is is difficult to define religion?

Religion is an institution established by man for various reasons. Exert control, instill morality, stroke ego, or whatever else it does. Organized structured religions, all but remove God from the equation. One confesses their sins to a clergy member, worship in elaborate Churches, told what to pray and when. All these factors are not praising God.

How did god get to be god?

A:When asked to define the powers of God, most Christians would say that he is all-powerful (omnipotent) and omniscient (all-knowing). When pressed further, they can identify limits to God's powers with, for example, the devil having considerable autonomy. A popular Christian tradition is that Jesus must fight the devil and his evil army at the armageddon. Although they are sure that Jesus will win, the very need for this battle means that God is not at all omnipotent. There are other examples that show the modern concept of God's power is ambiguous. The Bible begins with the same ambiguity. The first creation story, in Genesis 1:1-2:4a, portrays God as having the power to simply speak the sun, moon and stars, as well as all living things into existence, although he has to rest - on the seventh day. The second creation story, in Genesis 2:4b-25, portrays God as having limits to his power. He can not create living things out of nothing, but must make Adam and then the animals out of clay. He then makes Eve out of a rib from Adam. Different authors attributed different powers to God at different times in the history of Judah.Whatever powers God has, the religious answer is that God always was, and was alway omnipotent. The alternative answer is that man gave God these powers, when man created him in legend.

Is Danny devito a god?

Danny DeVito is not a God. No human being is a God. A human being is always a human being. No one becomes God even by good deeds and sacrifice but they are respected as a God. God is an ever existing eternal supreme being. All human beings are created beings. (The word 'created' is self-explanatory.) That doesn't comes under natural way of life. Humans are not natural but unnatural beings. I mean humans are just robots made of flesh and bones. There may be several eternal beings who knew neither death nor birth and God must be the chief of these eternal beings. IN FACT THIS IS THE REAL EVER EXISTING PHENOMENON. Human beings can think only like human beings. Their thoughts and intelligence are limited. To know and discover more they must come out of what religions and people created in their minds and think freely and independently. God’s powers are immeasurable and unimaginable. He didn’t want to stay idle with all of his powers. He had created many planets and at last he had got the idea of creating the earth. Those planets are empty while earth rotates filled with many kinds of creatures. After creating the human beings, God might have thought that he had entangled himself in a great responsibility. He had created spirits too for various purposes. He is creating new spirits even now. The possession of these spirits cause new developments on this earth. I guess God's character is somewhat different from what religions usually think. God's involvement in humans' personal affairs is very rare. God is responsible for what he had created on this earth and human beings are responsible for what they have created on this earth. The religions' teachings and preachings might have made people to think about God in a different angle. They must learn to think about him in a right angle. The relationship between God and human beings is just like a relationship between a scientist and his robots. Humans must think scientifically too. If God wants to do everything himself then why must he create medicinal herbs, plants and science for physical health and moral and discipline for mental health of human kind. Human beings must know the ways to rule themselves on this earth. He is always ready to grant intelligence and all that human beings need. He is always creating new spirits on this earth and make new developments on this earth. God's direct intervention in individuals' affairs is very rare. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, instincts, interests and everything. Further there will be always some spirits with you on behalf of your parents, friends, relatives and Gods you believe. Only these spirits make you remember them in a certain situations. All of these spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. A mind is a group/formation of many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. A mind is just like a computer's mind. After the computer is completely destroyed you will not get its mind. The same is the case with the human beings. A brain is a device used by the spirits to control the body and mind. (A senior spirit or a chief can control other spirits) A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism. After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives after death in any form. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

Can we say more about what God is not rather than what God actually is?

This depends on your definition of God. Since we do not really know anything about God, even whether he exists, it is certainly easier to define attributes that we believe do not apply to him than to define attributes we feel certain do apply to him.
