Solomon ws the king under whose reign Israel reached its greatest fame and prosperity. He was the son of David and Bathsheba.

Solomon was renowned for his proverbial wisdom, and it was this renown that brought his most famous visitor, the Queen of Sheba.

In spite of his wisdom, Solomon had, according to The Bible, a thousand wives and concubines. He made the grave mistake of allowing these wives to bring with them their false gods and to erect temples for them, eventually leading to a deadly influence on the Israelites.

Whether or not he had any offspring by the Queen of Sheba is not mentioned in the Bible. The question is open only to speculation.

While it's true that the "authorized bible" doesn't state clearly that they had a child, the wording in the bible could easily be interpreted as stating that they did at least have some sexual union together. That some choose not to interpret it that way is simply a matter of personal preference. Some people don't seem to want this to be true. It's really hard to say based on the "authorized bible" alone. However, there are accounts by the historian Josephus that claim that the Queen of Sheba gave birth to a child while on her return trip to the land of Saba, implying that it was Solomon's child. Also, the Freemason's claim to have ancient texts stating that Solomon and the queen of Sheba did have a son named Menelik. There are, as well, ancient Abyssinian texts that state that Solomon and Makeda, the queen of Saba (Sheba) were married and had a son named Menyelak, which means child of the wise man. Some historians do argue over these texts, but there are plenty of respected historians who accept these texts as authentic, although they add that the claim of marriage is likely an attempt to maintain the queens honor. While I wouldn't want to argue the point in a court of law, it seems there are more reasons to believe they did have a child together than not to believe it. Again, some people just don't want this to be true. Who knows?

There is no historical evidence to support the claim that King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba had a child together. The story of their encounter is often regarded as a myth or legend rather than a fact.

Lester L. Grabbe (Ancient Israel: What Do We Know and How Do We Know It?) says that the story of the Queen of Sheba was not in the original text of Kings, as written by the Deuteronomist in the seventh century BCE. He says it was added much later by the Redactor and has no support in the sources. The Queen of Sheba did not really exist and so did not have a child by Solomon.

What riddles did Solomon ask the queen of Sheba?

What was the relationship between sheba and Solomon?

Sheba is commonly identified as the Queen of Sheba who visited King Solomon in the Bible and Quran. Their relationship is often portrayed as one of mutual respect and admiration, with the Queen of Sheba being impressed by Solomon's wisdom and wealth. Their meeting is also seen as a symbol of cultural exchange and diplomacy between their respective kingdoms.

Did Solomon have children?

NO. The Authorized Bible does not mention Solomon and the Queen of Sheba having sexual relations or having a child together, let alone having "a son". 2Chronicles 9:12 states:- "And King Solomon himself gave the queen of Sheba all her delight for which she had asked, besides [the value of] what she brought to the king. So she turned about and went to her own land, she together with her servants". *** There are some traditions held by different religious groups who believe that where the Bible says, "And King Solomon himself gave the queen of Sheba all her delight for which she had asked..." this meant that she asked him to have sex with her. The Bible clearly states that she received gifts from Solomon that surpassed the value of the gifts she had brought for him and then, "...So she turned about and went to her own land, she together with her servants". She is not mentioned again as having any other connection with Solomon, or of having his child. *** Besides, the Bible informs us, at 1Kings 11:3- "And he (Solomon) came to have seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives gradually inclined his heart." With over 1000 women to keep Solomon occupied, he would have been comitting adultery with the Queen of Sheba. Any child of their union would have died, like the first child of his father, David and Bath-sheba, his mother, (who was still the wife of Uriah) because the child was conceived before she and David were married.

Did Queen Sheba give King Solomon a gorilla?

A:Biblical scholars believe that the story of the Queen of Sheba was a quite late addition to the story of King Solomon, possibly added after the Babylonian Exile. This is many centuries after the time of Solomon and would have contained nothing of historical value. If there was no Queen of Sheba, this means she did not give him a gorilla.
