Mormons actually have a bit of a different view on Heaven and Hell than many Christian denominations. They actually believe that everyone is to be judged the same, believers and non-believers. People will be rewarded or punished in the end depending on how they lived their lives.

In the Mormon beliefs, there are various levels of heaven, and although all the levels are wonderful, some have a higher degree of glory. Those that have not lived good lives would just go to a lower degree of Heaven.

The only people that would wind up in Hell would be people who knew the reality of God without any question or doubt (like a prophet or one of Christ's apostles), and then while knowing the truth, fought against God anyway.

Mormons believe in the concept of multiple degrees of glory in the afterlife, and that people of various faiths can attain different levels of glory based on their beliefs and actions. They do not believe that they are the only ones who will go to heaven, but rather that different paths and opportunities for salvation exist for all individuals.

No. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that the vast majority of people will go to heaven, regardless of their religion.

To better understand this, you must understand more details about Mormon beliefs about the afterlife. Mormons believe that immediately after death, people's spirits will go to either 'Spirit Paradise' or 'Spirit Prison' which may be compared to heaven and hell. Spirit Paradise is for all good people, regardless of their religion. Spirit Prison is for wicked people, regardless of their religion. Here in Paradise or Prison, we still have the ability to make choices that will affect our eternal reward. Mormons believe that many here who did not accept Mormonism during their life on earth will hear the message of the gospel and accept it, becoming Mormons in the afterlife.

After the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, when all of God's children have experienced their mortal life, all those in Paradise and Prison will be resurrected (their bodies will be reunited with their spirits) and face God for a final judgement. After this final judgement, they are sent to one of the three levels (also called 'kingdoms' or 'degrees') of heaven or to hell (also called 'outer darkness' or 'perdition'). The highest level of heaven (Celestial) is only for the most faithful Mormons (including those who may have converted after death). The middle level(Terrestrial) is for good people of all faiths, including Mormons who were not always faithful. The lowest level of heaven (Telestial) is for those who were not good and faithful, including liars, thieves, whoremongers, etc. Hell is reserved only for those who had a sure testimony of Jesus and then knowingly denied Him.

And so, while Mormons believe that only the most faithful Mormons will be in the highest level of heaven, they believe that most people, regardless of their religious affiliation, will go to one of the other levels of heaven.

Villains can get to heaven by seeking forgiveness for their wrongdoings, changing their ways, and showing genuine remorse for their actions. What is it like going through heaven?

Pretty much every religion has it's own perspective, but I believe that it's really whatever you want it to be. You have enough time to do whatever it is you want, with no worries of being to tired, not having enough money, etc. I can't say for certain, but the book heaven is for real might be an interesting read for you.
