A:Luke's Gospel and Acts of the Apostles are two books of the New Testament that are traditionally attributed to Luke, a physician and companion of Paul. However, these books were originally anonymous and were only attributed to Luke later in the second century. New Testament scholars say there is no good reason to accept these attributions. Furthermore, Luke 1:1-2 say that the book contains those things which are believed among the author's group and which were passed down, coming originally (he presumes) from eyewitnesses. Not a word in that passage of learning the gospel from Paul, but it implies that the author assumes that the source from which he received the gospel did not receive it from an eyewitness either. We now know that the sources mentioned in this passage were Mark's Gospel and the hypothetical 'Q' document. Thus, we know two books attributed to a doctor, but we do not know any books actually written by a doctor.
A:King Herod does not play a role in Luke's Gospel. It is only in Matthew's Gospel that he jealously seeks to have Jesus killed, finally ordering the death of the infants under two years old. In Luke's Gospel, it must be Quirinius who wields real power, because he required Joseph to go to Bethlehem for the census.
Jesus did not play favourites. He believed in building the strengths of each of his disciples, but his "inner circle" comprised Peter and the brothers James and John, sons of Zebedee. However, there exists a belief that John was his "favourite" disciple, because John refers to himself as "the disciple whom Jesus loved" several times in the Gospel of John.
There is no direct evidence that Saint Paul instituted the sacraments, as they were established by Jesus Christ during his ministry. Paul did play a significant role in spreading the Gospel and explaining the importance of the sacraments in maintaining the saving work of Jesus through his letters and teachings to the early Christian communities.

There are no specific pattern to gospel drum beats. Gospel music today ranges in style and genre from country to rock to metal. If you want to play drums for a gospel band, simply play it as you feel it and how it suits the style of the bands music.
