God is not detectable in a material sense, and is everywhere.
God is considered transcendent in that He exists beyond the physical world and is separate from His creation. At the same time, God is immanent as He is present and active within the universe, sustaining and guiding all things. This duality of being both transcendent and immanent allows God to be both above and involved in creation.
As a concept, God is typically not depicted as having physical attributes or needs like shaving. In most religious traditions, God is considered omnipotent and transcendent above physical concerns such as grooming.

The Elohist tradition in the Bible is characterized by its focus on portraying God as distant and transcendent, using the term "Elohim" for God, and highlighting themes of prophetic activity and the importance of obedience to God's commands. The Elohist texts often emphasize moral and ethical teachings, as well as the concept of a covenant between God and His people.
"Crossing the River Jordan" symbolizes the movement of a human's consciousness, a transformation from the earth-bound viewpoint to a transcendent one. When a person realizes (not just believes) his/her identity with the Source, or Divine, or God (whatever you choose to call Original Cause), he/she has "crossed," or in some church terms, has been "born again."This movement is not a matter of belief, which amounts to a notion or concept held to be true, a word-symbolization of What Is; realization is a knowing, as in knowing that you are, that you be (as in I Am).Celebrate that you are (we are) the Son(s) of God.

Deism
Both transcendent and immanent. God is above all worlds, and also permeates all worlds. He is also nearby and hears people's prayers.
transcendent
The opposite of transcendent is immanent. Transcendent refers to something beyond or above the ordinary realm, while immanent refers to something existing or operating within something else.
Immanent - to experience reality as present in the world where transcendent is to believe reality exists outside the material universe.
Well.... Immanent is where a spiritual belief is on earth or within earth. Transcendant is where spiritual belief is out of this world. For example: the balance of Christianity would be God is in heaven and is transcendant but he created the all things on earth so he shows immanence through nature. Hope this help all those seniors doing religious studies xxx
