How can you know for sure if Jesus is the way?

Test out the teachings he gave. Jesus spoke nothing but truth (1 Peter 2:22), so whatever it was he said can be depended on. Everything that he taught was told to him by Jehovah God to teach to others (John 7:16-17), which is an even greater guarantee that it's worth listening to, since Jehovah can't lie. (Titus 1:2)

The Bible is a letter from God and beneficial for teaching and setting things straight, according to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17. So to answer your question I will walk you through a few scriptures, that will give you the accurate understanding of why Jesus is the way.

According to John 14: 6 which reads. " Jesus said " I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me ". I suggest you read the whole chapter of John 6.

You may ask what way that Jesus speaking of.

1. The way is all about what is required on daily bases according to God's commandments that is part of Jesus' teachings.

2. The truth is all about what our future holds according to God's Kingdom to come that Jesus told us to pray for in Matthew 6: 9,10 where His will , (God's will) will be done on earth. Read Psalms 37: 29 which shows that the righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it, which was God's purpose when he created mankind. Read Genesis 2: 17 where the choice was given to Adam to live up to God's standards. We all have the same choice that was given to Adam and Eve. 1 Timothy 2: 4-6 reads: " Whose will ( God's will ) is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all.

3. The Life: Of what life is Jesus speaking of when he said he is the way, the truth and life .

Well ! it is all about the life that has always been part of God's purpose for mankind in Genesis 2: 17. Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad he would not have died. Jesus came on earth to give us insight on God's purpose confirmed in 1 John 5: 20. Because the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one, according to 1 John 5: 19. The Book of Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one in these words. " The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. " Today mankind is under two influences. God's influence due to the accurate knowledge that we have to become familiar with and live up to or Satan's influence which the whole world is under his influence.

The first Book of the Bible, Genesis, shows us how paradise on earth was lost and the last Book of the Bible, Revelation, shows us how paradise on earth will be regained througjh God's kingdom ( God's government ).

Jesus is the way that God has chosen to set us free from what Adam and Eve have put mankind through. John 8: 32 says that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. Free from what you may ask. Free from what Satan's world has to offer us, when he promised Eve that she will be like God in Genesis 3: 5. Well that did not happen, did it? Genesis chapter 3 is all about mankind's fall from everlasting life. Read Genesis 3: 16-23.
