the definition of Radical is thoroughgoing or extreme, esp. as regards change from accepted or traditional forms:a radical change in the policy of a company. At the time that Jesus was around the traditional beliefs of the general populace were not in accordance with what we take as acceptable today, which mainly stem from Christianity which is what Christ was spreading about. So in that day and age yes, Jesus Christ's views were very radical indeed. They were against the established social order, if implicated into the society there would be drastic changes, and the very order of day to day life would have been changed.

Jesus' ethics are considered radical because they challenged social norms and hierarchy by advocating for love, compassion, forgiveness, and inclusion of all, including outcasts and marginalized individuals. Jesus taught principles such as turning the other cheek, loving one's enemies, and caring for the poor, which were unconventional and went against the prevailing cultural and religious beliefs of his time. His emphasis on inner purity and intentions as opposed to outward actions also set his ethical teachings apart as radical.

Why is Josephus important for proving that Jesus existed?

Josephus, a Jewish historian from the first century, mentions Jesus in his work "Antiquities of the Jews." This mention provides extra-biblical, historical evidence of Jesus' existence, which is important for scholars and researchers studying the historical Jesus. While there is some debate over the authenticity of the specific mention of Jesus in Josephus' writings, it is still an important piece of historical documentation.

What three kinds of messiah did sattan tempt Jesus to be?

Satan tempted Jesus to be a political messiah who would use power to conquer nations, a miracle-working messiah who would perform grand acts to prove his identity, and a self-serving messiah who would prioritize personal gain over fulfilling his divine mission. Jesus resisted these temptations by staying true to his purpose as the sacrificial Lamb of God.

Why did Jesus need patient in dealing with his disciple?

Jesus needed patience in dealing with his disciples because they were human, prone to making mistakes and misunderstanding his teachings. He knew that they were still learning and growing in their faith, so he showed them grace and understanding as they navigated their journey with him. Ultimately, his patience helped to strengthen their relationship and deepen their understanding of his message.

What was radical about the ethics Jesus taught?

It is difficult to find a radical element in Jesus' teaching. Almost all of it was in line with the mainline teachings of the Pharisees. Certainly the Golden Rule "do unto others" follows directly from the normative "love thy neighbor as thyself," Leviticus 19:18. Rabbi Hillel, a leading Pharisee in the generation before Jesus, said that the essence of the Torah was "do not do unto others what you would not have done to you, that is the whole of the Torah. All the rest is commentary, now go study the commentary." The most radical element taught by Jesus might be "turn the other cheek," since outright pacifism is not commonly found in the Jewish tradition.

Prove jesus is the son of god historically?

It cannot be done.In order to prove that Jesus was the son of God "historically", one must first incontrovertibly prove that God exists. This falls outside of the scope of science (and therefore true history). We then must prove that God impregnated Mary (which would require that God himself testify, since there's no way of performing any sort of genetic test on Mary or Jesus). We then must prove that Jesus was indeed the son of Mary, which too would require genetic testing. So far, we can't even conclusively prove that Jesus existed (though it is possible) in a historical context since it has been shown that the only 3rd party verification of Jesus' existence (the records of Roman historian Josephus) were later proved to be doctored.AnswerRead the Bible. The whole great book testifies that Jesus is the son of God and is God. Science helps prove that God does exist.
